Forgive me quilters, it has been 10 days since my last confession. Please continue to forgive me, because it will be at least as many days until I post something quilt related again. I’m working on a new book, which means I’m spending time quilting, but I just can’t show anything I’m making. In the meantime, I am going to share some of the things I have been knitting(later this week) and catch up on some family stuff. By now, you probably know this blog isn’t all about my work, but beware, there are cute baby pictures coming up.

Abi, meet the blogosphere. Blogosphere, meet our new niece Abigale Marie. She was born last Wednesday and we went to visit her last weekend.
Here she is with her Uncle Joel (my DH), and we happen to think she’s pretty cute. Actually, quite perfect. She really doesn’t even look like a newborn. Her cheeks are already filled out and check out that cute double chin! The rest of her is quite perfect too -
Like her tiny little fingers
And her tiny little toes.
This is her big sister Kara
She has beautiful features too -
Like these beautiful blue eyes
And these beautiful eyelashes.
Not to mention her personality. She hadn’t had a nap that day, so if you asked her if she was tired, she replied “No, I’m happy.” I thought that was such a cute reply and a little something good for us adults to be reminded of as well.
Here’s Kara with another new member of the family, Frankie. Pretty soon dogs are going to outnumber people in the Peterson family.
Here’s the two girls with their mother -
And one last shot of the baby.
Congratulations to the parents on another job well done!

Congratulations! Beautiful baby, lovely family and great photos ! Thanks for sharing!
Congratulations Aunite Heather & Uncle Joel!
to cute for words.
Cute doggie too! Of course, not quite as fabulous as Daisy, Joel! (but pretty darn close!)
Congratulations on the new niece! They are so wonderful! Looking forward to the new book!
Very adorable…it’s always fun to look at babies…these two little girls sure are loved. What a gift that love is.
The whole family is adorable… including Frankie! Looking forward to seeing snips of the new book!!! I now have a binder just for your books… titled “Heather”
What a wonderful family! Lovely children. Congrats to the parents and to you the new Aunt and Uncle.
Aren’t they both darling!
What a beautiful baby! Sweet family pictures.
Wow Wee! makes me want to go pick up one of those and keep it here at my house! They are both darling!
Heather,
What an absolutely gorgeous baby- and one very cute big sister . Congratulations to her parents and extended family.
Thanks for sharing.
Regards,
Anna
Deliciousness!!!
Ooooh, yum! She’s gorgeous. Heck, you all are! Except Joel. Pretty sure he might take offense to ‘gorgeous.’
What a sweet little baby, and beautiful photos.
What a beautiful baby and a beautiful family. Congratulations!
Congratulations! There are some awfully cute kids in the Peterson family. Will look forward to more photos in your books!
And a new book in the works, you say? Oh goodie…can hardly wait!
That has to be one of the most perfect looking babies I have ever seen!
Abigale is beautiful. And so is Kara. Those eyelashes are amazing! What is up with your kin and eyelashes ~ that’s some awesome eyelash-DNA you’ve got going on.
As always, your pictures are beautiful. Even with gorgeous subjects, you totally do them justice.
But as beautiful as the Petersens are, I think I’m most gaga over the newest four-legged member of the family. Frankie is so cute! And really, as wonderful as babies are, you’ve got to wait a little while until you can really play with them. Can I just go play with Kara and Frankie?
Congratulations to Aunt Heather and Uncle Joel!
Don’t you just want to sit and stare, and smell, and touch their soft skin, when they are that age! Babies are just sooooo lovely. Congratulations Aunty Heather.
Amazing photos! Beautiful little girls too!
Great pics…if you ever quit quilting you would be an amazing photographer.
Awwww….they’re so beautiful!
The girls are beautiful!
What kind of dog is that? It is so cute!!
Could those children be any more beautiful? I think not!
Wow! Talk about seeing the breath of heaven … she is so amazing and perfect. Congratulations to your family! God’s richest blessings!
