Amidst the business of the holidays, I have been sneaking in some sewing time with my Summer House fabrics. I have also passed on some of the fabrics to my Mom and she made this runner.
It’s called “Modern Day Diamonds” and can be found in my Living Large book, which came out a few years ago. Click here to view the book.
I will be offering kits of this runner, as soon as the bolts show up (which could be any day now).
It’s a very long runner, which works really nice on a rectangular table.

We also finished up a “Spaghetti Junction” quilt in the Summer House fabrics. It’s been pretty dark and gloomy in Minnesota on many of these winter days, so it has been hard to get a decent photo. I will try again on another day. . . .

My favorite prints from the line are these two border prints. Yum!

Trends and Traditions 
You chose a perfect fabric for the binding of the Spaghetti Junction quilt: it makes the quilt look as if it had been finished with a blanket stitch. I really like it!
I saw the runner and loved it. Then I saw your table and laughed, I have the same table and chairs. Is the book out now?
Yes, both books are out now. Funny you should have that table too! It is popular in our family as my mom, sister, and brother all have it too. It seems there is a shortage of options for kitchen tables in our town!
Heather, I just wanted to say I just finished making RACETRACK from your Little Quilts 4 Little Kids. It is just adorable for a new great grandbaby. And it is so easy to make even though it looks complicated with the roads and cars. Thanks.

I love your line of Summer House Quilt fabric. I have a summer house colored decor in our home, we love Bermuda! The table runner you used to showcase the fabric is wonderful. We have straight lines and it is hard to incorporate flowers & frills, but I’m thinking this pattern will work. I would love to be the lucky person to receive this fabric. Thank you for this chance.
