It’s always a fun day when new fabric arrives. My bolts of the Here Fishy, Fishy fabric have arrived, after what seems like a really long wait!
As is tradition on my blog, I always give away the first fat quarter pack! Just leave a comment to be entered. I will try to get the winner posted on Friday.
I have already posted a few of the things I have made from this fabric.
I have one more that I haven’t shared yet. I really wanted to make something to show off the panel print from the line. (Or in this case – have something made. Thanks Mom!)
The panel is cut into squares, framed in cream and then framed again with assorted colors.
The original pattern is called Sweet Pea and looks like this:
I made another color option using one of my Christmas lines, “At Home for the Holidays”

Oh, Girl! I am so excited that it’s finally here! You really did knock this one out of the park…it’s a ‘keeper’! Hoping, hoping, hoping that darling bundle heads this way. This fabric is simply wonderful, the colours and the varieties of the patterns are stunning and I love the “Here Fishy Fishy ” quilt which Carter sets of to absolute perfection. Love the applique on top of the squares in Sweet Pea! Love the quilt hanger a.k.a. dock bench. Was it stabilized?Looked like it could have taken a bath in the lake if the wind wasn’t cooperating.
I am really liking that color combo, the oranges are fantastic and look so happy, not like a Halloween really. Of course the best pictures are the ones with Carter in them – he would make anything great!! I was almost feeling that quilt slip into the water off the dock – lol!

I absolutely love your Fishy fabrics. You always do a wonderful job of pattern and color. My grandson, Noah, is 16 months old and one of his first words was Fishy. His mom and dad let him watch 3 to 5 minutes of “Finding Nemo” almost every day because after seeing it just once he goes to the TV, points and says “Fishy”. We are in the process of making a quilt for his new bed when he grows out of his crib and some of the “Fishy” material would please him the most.

Love the bright colors of the fabrics and love the panel quilt. I especially like the houndstooth and wave fabrics that are incorporated in the quilt! Fun!!

I’ve been waiting for this fabric release! I plan to make a quilt for my nephew and his wife, as he is a MN fisherman guy. They are newlyweds, so it will be a while before any babies come along, but that just gives me more time to make them a fabulous baby fishy quilt!

Heather, I love all of your fabrics and these are no exception! I have a question. In the quilt I am currently working on, I would like to use white or off white in it. If I do this will the darker colors in your fabrics (like reds) bleed at all? I see this same combination in some of your quilts.

I love how a simple pattern can look totally different depending on fabric choices. Wish the fish fabric would have been available when my boys were little as it is perfect for little boys.

I absolutely love the here fishy fishy patterns!! I’m doing a nature theme in my son’s room with fogs, turtles and dragon flies in orange, brown & blue so this would tie in perfectly!!!! Hope to win for sure!!!
