Minnesota Designer’s Blog Hop

Logo blog hop

I just wanted to pop in quick and tell you about something fun to look forward to next week.   A bunch of Minnesota Quilt Designers are having a blog hop next week!   Each day you can visit a different designer’s blog and they will treat you to a  free pattern, demo, or new technique.  Many of the designers are having fun prizes for people who comment.  Also, if you comment on every designer’s blog on the hop, your name will be entered into a drawing for the grand prize  – a $200 gift basket fill with things from the participating designers.  There will also be a first place prize valued at $60 and a second place prize valued at $40.

The blog hop starts this  Monday over at Gudrun’s blog with a quilt-as-you-go table runner.

On Tuesday I’m up with a fun pattern for a small wall quilt, perfect for summer.

Here is the rundown for the rest of the dates:

June 24.Celine from Perkins Dry Goods

June 25. Roseann from Rosebuds Cottage

June26. Sherri from This ‘N’ That

June 29. Kari from New Leaf Stitches

June 30. Terry from Atkinson Designs

July 1. Shelly from Cedar Canyon Textiles

July 2. Jamie from Scrap-bags

July 3. Mary from Quilted Treasures

It’s going to be lots of fun –  with all the fun things you will learn and the potential to win great prizes.  All this fun was Gudrun’s idea, so be sure to thank her when you stop by her blog on Monday!

See you next tuesday,

Heather

PS – Be sure to pass the word around about this fun event!

  32. I love the flowers! They’re soooo cheerful, although today’s Minnesota weather is so toasty, our flower’s will need lots of water. One picture looked like you have a Sum and Substance hosta -I love mine – so big and chartreuse and easy to grow.

Was the alternate color scheme part of Kafe’s lines? Intense and rich.
